# Sample Tinework decision memo

## Should CXey pilot a support-context briefing?

**Status:** Conditional recommendation
**Evidence state:** Design hypotheses; baseline not observed
**Decision owner:** Client support owner, to be confirmed

This sample illustrates the decision structure. It is not a report of measured client results.

## Decision

Whether to test a read-only briefing that assembles current HubSpot, Shopify, carrier, and approved Slack context where a support agent handles one inquiry.

## Recommendation

Do not replace HubSpot or automate customer actions first. Establish the current research and reconciliation baseline. If it is material, pilot one read-only briefing for one inquiry class. Keep the agent responsible for judgment and response.

## Current record

- HubSpot is the working support surface in the design candidate.
- Relevant context may also live in Shopify, carrier services, and Slack.
- The record does not yet establish research time, error rate, exception load, or configuration cost.
- HubSpot may already meet the need through configuration. Test that option before custom software.

## Alternatives

1. No change.
2. Policy or training.
3. HubSpot configuration.
4. Integration or companion software.
5. System replacement.
6. Bounded AI after the deterministic context path works.

## Pilot contract

**Scope:** One inquiry class, named agents, read-only sources, and no customer-facing action.

**Measures:** Research time, correct-source use, missed context, exception load, supervision effort, and operating cost.

**Stop conditions:** No material baseline problem; unreliable source matching; privacy or authority breach; high exception load; or no accountable operator.

**Production gate:** Observed improvement, acceptable total cost and risk, documented ownership, and separate approval.

## Strongest supportable claim

If the baseline confirms material context-retrieval work, a read-only briefing is a lower-risk intervention to test before system replacement or action-taking AI.

## What would change the recommendation

- HubSpot configuration resolves the measured problem at lower total cost.
- Agents already have the required context when and where they work.
- The relevant data cannot be used safely or reliably.
- The organization cannot own, monitor, and support the intervention.
